Advanced Photography B: Grades 7-12

Time: 1:00 - 3:00pm
Date: Fridays, February 25 - March 18, 2022
Cost: $120.00

By the end of this program the students will have a greater understanding of the use of their camera in manual mode as well as other buttons and functions. They will explore the more detailed use of aperture, shutter speed and ISO to create enduring photos. Students will also get an introduction to shooting in the dark, street photography and macro photography.

These workshops will afford students time to practice and explore their learning in photography. This is an interactive, student-centred class with plenty of hands-on experiences. Students will have opportunities to explore their own passions in photography, allow their artistic skills to flourish, and develop necessary presentation and interpersonal skills.

Required: Students must bring their own camera (not a smartphone).
