“For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 NASB

For the past 33 years, Carrie and her husband Dennis have lived a life of working hard, raising a family, and a whole lot of moving around – an adventurous lifestyle which has most definitely spoiled them for the ordinary! From Alberta to Texas… and even to the far reaches of Africa, WISDOM has travelled alongside the Martinoskis, playing a vital role in the successful training of their four children and providing educational stability for their nontypical, nomadic life in global missions. Their kids have long since grown and left the next, dramatically changing Carrie’s focus and accelerating her efforts down a career path which is years in the making. Carrie is happy that WISDOM has welcomed her on board and thrilled with the opportunity to pay it forward by helping families navigate through the wide and wonderful (albeit challenging) world of home schooling.

An adage Carrie often inserts into even the most casual of conversations is, “… whatever we do, wherever we go, whoever we meet – it’s all opportunity to be God’s servant-warrior!” Armed to the hilt with a lifetime of experience, wielding her double-edged certification in HR and Career Development, and brandishing her BA degree, Carrie is presently in training camp to add Master of Counselling to her arsenal. Carrie’s 'whatever' is counselling. Along with that comes the anticipation and excitement of helping families with career guidance and with family, marriage, and trauma therapy. As for her 'wherever' and 'whoever'… Carrie excitedly awaits God’s revelation. As she waits, she knows two things for certain: His plans for her will unfold, and as she continues down these paths, she will be forever spoiled for the ordinary!

In her time away from work or hitting the books, Carrie loves going on long walks with Dennis, loving on her grandkids, visiting friends, reading, drawing, painting, and making artisanal soaps.
